 At one time two of my sons, Luke and Will, both played professional baseball and had Spring Training together in Florida. I went each spring to watch baseball and visit the coast lines. This scene is in Tarpon Springs, Florida also known as “the sponge capital of the world.” Greek immigrants came here after 1905 to continue their tradition of sponge diving. The sponges are harvested and auctioned weekly at the Sponge Docks.
