Original Watercolor, 9″ x 12″

On June 3^rd of 2010 I flew to Seattle to help my son Joe drive a moving van back to Orange County the next day. I had the morning of the 4^th to take pictures while Joe was at work. Searching for old fishing boats, I found Fishermen’s Terminal located in the northern part of Seattle on the Salmon Bay near Ballard. I took about 300 pictures, many with my camera-zoom out to 75X and sometimes further. Only when I got home and had the pictures developed did I realize that this is where several of the boats from the TV show “Deadliest Catch” are docked in the off season. I was very fortunate to get this shot of the Northwestern. Close by was the Wizard.
