Original Watercolor, 30″ x 22″

In 2010 I flew to Seattle to help my son Joe move back to southern California the next day. I had the morning to take some pictures while Joe finished his last day at work. Searching for old fishing boats, I found Fishermen’s Terminal located in the northern part of Seattle on the Salmon Bay near Ballard. I took about 300 pictures, many with my camera’s zoom out to 75x and sometimes further. Only when I got home and processed the pictures did I realize that this is where several of the boats from the TV show “Deadliest Catch” are docked in the off season. I was very fortunate to get this shot of the Northwestern. Close by was the Wizard.
