Over the past 25 years, I’ve spent hundreds of hours walking the harbor of Newport, Oregon taking thousands of reference photographs while talking with captains, crew, and dock workers. This is Redeemer, a 52-foot commercial fishing vessel used for Dungeness crab, shrimp, and longlining. Fuel capacity = 3,800 gallons deisel. In 2016, she was featured on Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch: Dungeness Cove.”
