Original Watercolor, 9″ x 12″

I was fortunate to be at Northeast Harbor, Maine at sun up in October, 2008. The leaves were changing, the air was clear, and the water calm. This lobster boat was heading out just when the sun was at a grazing angle. This creates the strong contrast of bright reflections against dark water.
