Low Tide in Lubec

The Bay of Fundy has the largest tide swings in the world attaining up to 50 feet. Lubec is at the mouth of the Bay and has tide changes of nearly 28 feet. These two dredge boats were grounded during low tide. Historic old smoke houses are in the background at the right.
